Who am I?

 

I have been in the industry for more the 20 years. Born & Raised on the South shore on Montreal in Quebec, Canada. I started in the wine industry when I was 16 and I have work has a dishwasher, chef, busboy, server, bartender, sommelier, Beverage Director, General manger in the restaurant industry.
I came to to Las Vegas in 2004 to work at Southern Wines & Spirits in the fine wine division (J&P Wholesale) and then moved on to start my own distillery in Portland Oregon 2010 after looking at the industry and seeing the opportunity to start my own brand.
I moved back to Las Vegas in 2015 to become the beverage director at Cut Steakhouse by Wolfgang Puck to then move on to where I am presently General Manager at West Coast Wines & Spirits.
I only have one dream in this life and it is to change the rules of the game. I am Rum and this is my WARSHIP I hope that you will join me in this journey of changing the world we live in.
 

Our Mission and why we exist

We have a simple goal with our Rums to establish an ultra premium brand in the white rum category, this market share is controlled by Bacardi, Cruzan & Don Q but those rums do not have all of the pedigree that Warship has nor do does brands command a more expensive and sophisticated consumer that the rum category lacks at the moment.
Non of them are GMO-FREE Organically grown and fair trade, none of them are black strap molasses base or made in small batches that are handmade. Has the spirit category gets more sophisticated consumers are looking for more craft brands that have a story to tell and a face or a person that they can really feel a connection with, the big brands do control the category for now but like we have seen in the craft beer category consumers want something different and they’re willing to pay more and with that comes bigger margins for wholesaler, restaurants, bars and retail stores.
In the end our story reflects true craftsmanship and passion about making rums that stand out by there packaging but mostly by there bold rich taste that consumers are looking for.
